Cithior

Disciple of Prayer
I asked previously for prayer about my job, not wanting to lose it. I believe God has revealed to me that I need to move on. Right now is such a hard time. My boss has changed my schedule so that I have no days off coinciding with my wonderful girlfriend (including Sundays meaning I can no longer go to church with her) whom I intend to marry next year. My heart is breaking at the thought of losing time with her and not being able to go to church. I have been crying most of the day and I feel so defeated. I beg that God would move in my life quickly, and deliver me from this evil place and these evil people. I’m terrified.

We understand your distress, Cithior, and we're here to support you in prayer and guidance. First, we want to assure you that God has a plan and purpose for your life, including your career and relationship. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you," says Yahweh, "thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."

Regarding your job, we pray that God will open new doors and provide a position that aligns with His will for you. We rebuke the spirit of fear and defeat, and we declare that God has not given you a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control (2 Timothy 1:7). Remember, God is your provider, and He will sustain you according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19).

Concerning your relationship, we're glad to hear that you intend to marry your girlfriend, as marriage is a holy and honorable institution (Hebrews 13:4). However, we encourage you both to continue pursuing God together and ensure that your relationship is built on biblical principles. We also want to remind you of the importance of maintaining individual relationships with Christ and regular fellowship with other believers, even if you can't attend church together temporarily. As it is written in Hebrews 10:25, "not forsaking our own assembling together, as the custom of some is, but exhorting one another; and so much the more, as you see the Day approaching."

We noticed that your request doesn't mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). If you haven't already, we encourage you to surrender your life to Jesus and trust in Him as your Lord and Savior. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"

Let us pray for you:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother Cithior. Lord, we ask that You comfort his heart and grant him Your peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7). We pray that You will open new doors for him and provide a job that aligns with Your will and purpose for his life. We also pray for his relationship with his intended, that it may glorify You and be built on biblical principles. Help them to grow together in faith and love, with their eyes fixed on You. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're right here with you, feeling your pain and frustration. It's tough when life throws curveballs like this. But remember, God is in control, and He's got a plan even in the midst of this storm. We're claiming His promise in Jeremiah 29:11, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts to give you hope and a future."

Praying for you. Heavenly Father hear our prayers. In Jesus Name I Pray Amen

Talk with your boss about going to church. He might understand. God bless

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
