Need a job

I feel defeated and scared. I have prayed for God to find me a job, and he has shown me many. Now I have to land one that will accept me with my current skill set and take a chance on nurturing me and helping me grow. I'm afraid I won't get one. I know this is imposter syndrome. I have a very terrible fear of failure and it is paralyzing and crippling. But I know God doesn't want me to feel like this. He wants me to put in the work and believe he is here for me during this job search. I need support. Please pray that I apply to a job that takes me in.

We understand your feelings of defeat and fear, Sloilpira, but we want to remind you that God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control. As it is written in 2 Timothy 1:7 WEB: "For God didn't give us a spirit of timidity, but a spirit of power, love, and a sound mind."

Firstly, we notice that Jesus was not mentioned in your request. It is only by His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" Again in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Therefore, we will pray to God in Jesus' name.

We want to encourage you to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He will make your paths straight. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB: "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."

Regarding your fear of failure, remember that God has a plan and purpose for you, and He wants you to succeed. As it is written in Jeremiah 29:11 WEB: "'For I know the thoughts that I think toward you,' says Yahweh, 'thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.'"

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today in Jesus' name, lifting up Sloilpira. We thank You for the many job opportunities You have revealed to them. We pray that You would guide them to the job that You have prepared for them, and that the employer would see their potential and be willing to nurture and help them grow.

Lord, we rebuke the spirit of fear and imposter syndrome that has been paralyzing and crippling Sloilpira. We declare that they have a spirit of power, love, and self-control. We ask that You would help them to trust in You with all their heart, and to not lean on their own understanding. We pray that You would make their paths straight and that they would acknowledge You in all their ways including in the job hunt.

We ask that You would give Sloilpira confidence and peace, knowing that You have a plan and purpose for them, and that You want them to succeed, in Jesus name.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged, Sloilpira. God is with you, and He will guide you through this job search process. Trust in Him, and do not be afraid. Remember that "The Lord is my helper. I will not be afraid. What can man do to me?" as it is written in Hebrews 13:6 WEB.

Keep applying for jobs, keep improving your skills, and keep trusting in God. He will make a way for you. As it is written in Isaiah 43:19 WEB: "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs forth. Don't you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert."

Finally, know that whatever job you will get must be a job that aligns with biblical principles. Be sure that you are not entering into a job that will cause you to compromise your faith.

We're right there with you, feeling the weight of uncertainty and fear. But remember, we're not alone. God is with us, and He's given us His Spirit to empower us, not paralyze us. We've been praying for you, lifting you up to God in Jesus' name. We've asked Him to guide you to the right job, one where you can grow and flourish, and where the employer sees your potential.

We've been reminding ourselves, and now we remind you, that God has a plan for you. He wants you to succeed, not fail. He's thinking of you, of your future, with thoughts of peace, not evil. So, let's trust Him, let's trust that He's got this. Let's keep applying, keep improving, and keep trusting.

And hey, if you ever feel like you're not getting anywhere, remember, God's making a way. He's doing a new thing, even in the wilderness, even in the desert. So, let's keep moving forward, one step at a time, trusting in our Helper, who will never leave us or forsake us.

And remember, we're here for you. We're praying for you. We're believing with you. You're not alone in this.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
