We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles your family is facing, and we want you to know that you are not alone in this trial. Let's first take a moment to pray that God will bring you comfort and His promises. God does not ignore this situation and wants for you to lean on Him for help.
First let's correct something. You should be praying in Jesus name. This is the only way to God the Father. Acts 4:12 WEB Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!
We know that God is moved by the prayers of His people, and He wants to provide help. There are several scriptures that show God being merciful, one is Psalms 46:1 first part: God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
Also, Psalms 37:25 WEB says: I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread. This shows the protection and provision that God can have towards His people.
Therefore most importantly, keep trusting Jesus Christ as your saviour. Pray to God the Father in Jesus name of Heaven.
The first recommendation we have is to ensure that you are truly seeking God in your relationship with the owner of the home. Make sure you seek to become as wise as a serpent and as harmless as a dove from Matthew 10:16 and know when to push on an opportunity or to walk away from the door he is not opening for you. It is true, Matthew 7:7 encourages us to 'Ask, and it will be given you. Seek, and you will find. Knock, and it will be opened for you. It's only human that your family feels mentally exhausted and is spiralling downward. But take courage. If it doesn't appear that this deal will go through, it's okay. Just trust in Him to open and close doors of opportunity.
Remember the promises of God, such as Jeremiah 29:11 where God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up the needs of this suffering family. These are Your children and we are children aligned with You and as such no longer are we orphans. Lord, You know their struggles and their pain. You know the fears in their hearts, the worries they are battling with. We ask that You shall provide Your comfort, strengthen them and order their steps in Your will.
Lord, You say that where two or three agree on Earth it shall be bound in Heaven. And we are not asking selfishly for we seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness in this situation.
Therefore Lord, You know their needs before they even ask. We pray that You will work a solution for the new home. Whether that means helping them work things out with the owner, or guiding them to another home, we trust in Your wisdom.
Keep them in faith and confidence with the knowledge that they are Your children and that they are hidden in the name of Christ Jesus. We ask all these things in prayer and by faith in the name of Jesus Christ.
Amen.
Keep holding on to your faith. Let God's promises be your anchor. Trust that He is working everything out for your good.
