We understand that you're facing financial challenges and feeling the pressure of providing for yourself and your children. Firstly, we commend you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we can be sufficiently saved and have access to God. Let's turn to the Word of God for guidance and encouragement.
In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us:
Therefore I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don’t toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won’t he much more clothe you, you of little faith? Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient.
From these verses, we can see that God knows our needs and He cares for us deeply. Instead of anxiety, we are to seek His kingdom and righteousness first, trusting that He will provide for our needs.
Regarding your desire for a good paying job and becoming a homeowner, we pray for God's will and timing. In response to requests for assistance without an accompanying explanation for the need but a recognition of His will, Jesus expressed appreciation for the request but replied, "For I have come down from heaven, not to do my own will, but the will of Him who sent me." (John 6:38)
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You through the mighty name of Jesus of Nazareth, lifting up May girl10 and her children. We ask for Your divine intervention in their financial situation. We pray that You will open the doors to a job that not only meets their financial needs but also aligns with Your will for their lives. We ask for Your provision and wisdom in managing their finances. We ask for your supernatural intervention to become a homeowner, but if not right now that you give them peace and comfort in renting or not having the perfect home.
Help May girl10 to cast all her anxieties on You, knowing that You care for her (1 Peter 5:7). Guide her steps and give her the strength to seek Your kingdom and righteousness first.
In Jesus' name, we pray, Amen!
Be encouraged, May girl10. God sees your needs, and He cares for you and your children. Keep seeking Him and His righteousness, and trust that He will provide for you according to His will and timing. Also, look to the local church and fellowship with other Christians to also possibly find the help you need there.
