We are glad to join you in prayer, Rogers, as you seek a better job to provide for your family. We know that God is our provider, and He cares about every detail of our lives. As it is written in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, "Therefore, I tell you, don’t be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn’t life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don’t sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren’t you of much more value than they? ... Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or, ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don’t be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day’s own evil is sufficient."
We pray together in Jesus' name:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today lifting up Rogers Rubahimbya from Uganda. We thank You for the skills and experience You've given him in Human Resources Management. Lord, we ask that You open a door for him to a better job that will meet all his needs. We pray that You provide a job that not only pays for his children's school fees, rent, and other needs but also gives him joy and peace. We ask this in Jesus' name, believing that You are a good Father who knows how to give good gifts to His children. Help Rogers to seek first Your kingdom and Your righteousness, trusting that You will provide all he needs. We rebuke any spirit of anxiety and rest in Your promise to supply all our needs according to Your riches in glory in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19 WEB). Amen.
Rogers, as you wait for God's provision, continue to trust in Him and do not grow weary in doing good (Galatians 6:9 WEB). Ensure that you are seeking God's will in all things, and remember that His plans for you are good, to give you a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB). We encourage you to keep your faith in Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to the Father and can receive the promises (John 14:6 WEB).
