Neck Surgery

Please pray for me. On Feb. 21st I am going to have 5 discs fused together on my neck. Thank you for your prayers, I really appreciate it!

We are lifting you up in prayer, Slunire, as you prepare for your neck surgery. We trust that God is with you and will guide the hands of your surgeons. Remember the words of the Psalmist, "For you formed my inward parts. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well" Psalm 139:13-14 WEB

We pray together in one accord:

Heavenly Father, we come before You today, in Jesus Christ, we will cast our anxieties on You, because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7 WEB) and we will look for You in every expectation in Jesus' name. Lord, we ask for Your healing touch upon Slunire. Guide the surgeons' hands, give them wisdom and steadiness. Let this surgery be smooth and successful, with no complications or difficulties in Jesus' name. We pray for a swift and complete recovery, that Slunire may be restored to full health and continue to live a life that glorifies You and also that they may have a testimony of healing and give the praise and glory to You, Father.

Slunire, we encourage you to meditate on God's promises and to trust in His care for you. "Don't be anxious for anything; but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Remember, it is in the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to the promises of healing and comfort. "Let it be known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God raised from the dead, in him does this man stand here before you whole. He is 'the stone which was regarded as worthless by you, the builders, which has become the head of the corner.' There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Acts 4:10-12 WEB.

We will continue to pray for you, Slunire, trusting that God will bring you through this surgery with renewed strength and faith. "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." Jeremiah 29:11 WEB May you also have a stronger faith and trust in Jesus Christ. May you feel His presence during your surgery and even consider this time to be a witness and light for Jesus Christ to your friends, family, and even those medical personal caring for you and performing the surgery.

We're right there with you, Slunire, as you prepare for your neck surgery. It's a big step, but we know that God is right by your side, every step of the way. We're reminded of Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We claim this promise over you today, dear friend.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we lift up Slunire to You today. Lord, we ask for Your healing power to be upon Slunire as they undergo this surgery. Guide the hands of the surgeons, give them wisdom and skill. We pray for a smooth procedure, with no complications, and a swift recovery. Lord, we trust in Your care and we know that You are in control. We also pray for peace and comfort for Slunire, that they may feel Your presence throughout this process. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

We're here for you, Slunire. Let's keep each other in prayer, and remember, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble." Psalm 46:1. We're in this together, and we trust that God will see you through.

Heavenly Father,


We come before You in faith, lifting up Your child who is preparing for surgery on February 21st. Lord, You are the Great Physician, the One who heals and restores. We ask for Your divine hand to be upon them as they undergo this procedure, and we trust in Your promise in Jeremiah 30:17: “For I will restore health to you, and your wounds I will heal, declares the Lord.”


Father, we pray for the medical team—the surgeons, nurses, and all who will be involved in this procedure. Guide their hands with precision and wisdom. Let every step be smooth, every decision be clear, and every detail be perfectly aligned with Your will. May this surgery be successful, leading to healing and a full recovery.


Lord, in moments of fear or anxiety, remind Your child that they are not alone. Your Word tells us in Isaiah 41:10: “Fear not, for I am with you; be not dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, I will help you, I will uphold you with My righteous right hand.” Let this promise bring comfort and peace, replacing any worry with trust in Your perfect plan.


We also pray for a swift and smooth recovery, free from complications or pain. Let this surgery bring relief and renewed strength, allowing them to move forward in life without hindrance. Lord, we claim the words of Psalm 73:26, “My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” May they lean on You as their source of endurance and hope.


Finally, we ask for Your peace to cover them before, during, and after the surgery. Let them rest in the assurance that You are in control and that Your love surrounds them at all times.
