We understand that your church, The Narrow Gate, is facing challenges with the business downstairs, ###, who are trying to make you leave. We join you in prayer for a new place of worship in ###, while also praying for mercy and a resolution with the owners and workers of the restaurant.
Firstly, we remind you of the words of Jesus in John 13:34-35 WEB: "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also must love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another." Even in this challenging situation, we are called to love and pray for those who may be acting against us.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brothers and sisters from The Narrow Gate church. Lord, You know the challenges they are facing with the business downstairs. We pray for a peaceful resolution and for the hearts of the owners and workers of ### to be touched by Your mercy and grace in Jesus's name.
We also ask, Lord, that You provide a new place of worship for The Narrow Gate in ###. Guide them to a location where they can continue to serve You and continue to be a beacon of light in their community. We know, Lord, that you are a good Father and that you have the best for them.
In the meantime, Lord, give them strength and wisdom to handle this situation with love and grace. And if any of those individuals are not saved, we pray for their salvation. Help our brothers and sisters to be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
Father, we also pray for the community of ###. May Your name be glorified and may Your kingdom come and Your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
We ask this in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Remember, the Apostle Paul encourages us in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working even in this situation for the good of His people.
Lastly, we gently remind you to ensure that all prayers are offered in the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His name that we have access to God the Father and it is by His name that we are saved. As the Bible tells us in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
