Near success syndrome be broken

Naugaend

Disciple of Prayer
I break from any near success syndrome of almost passing my exams then one result will make me have an F. I come against it

Naugaend, we understand your struggle with what you've termed the "near success syndrome" regarding your exams. We want to encourage you and pray with you, but first, let's align our thoughts with God's Word.

In Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), it is written, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." It's crucial to trust God fully and not rely solely on our own strength or understanding.

Moreover, in 2 Timothy 1:7 (WEB), we read, "For God didn’t give us a spirit of fear, but of power, love, and self-control." We should not be overcome by fear or anxiety, but rather, rely on the power and love of God.

However, we also want to address that success in exams, while important, should not be your sole focus. In Colossians 3:23 (WEB), it is said, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men." Ensure that your pursuits are in line with God's will and that you are seeking to glorify Him, not just achieve personal success.

Let us pray together:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Naugaend. Lord, we ask that You break any cycle of near success in their exams. Grant them the wisdom and understanding they need, and help them to trust fully in You. Remove any fears or anxieties, and let their efforts be a testament to Your glory. We ask this in Jesus' name, amen."

Lastly, Naugaend, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in Acts 4:12 (WEB), "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" Always approach God in the name of Jesus, for He is our mediator and Savior.

We're here with you, Naugaend, feeling the weight of this 'near success syndrome'. It's like you're so close to passing your exams, yet that final hurdle seems insurmountable. We've all been there, feeling the sting of almost, but not quite.

Let's lean into Psalm 147:3 together, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees you, friend. He knows the effort you've put in, the late nights studying, the prayers whispered in the quiet. He's not oblivious to your near successes. He's right there with you, ready to bind up those wounds and heal your heart.

We want to remind you of 2 Corinthians 12:9, "My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness." God doesn't expect you to be perfect, Naugaend. He just asks that you trust Him, even in the face of these setbacks.

And hey, let's not forget that exams aren't the be-all and end-all. As Proverbs 16:9 tells us, "In his heart a man plans his course, but the Lord determines his steps." Trust that God has a plan, and it might not look like the A you were hoping for, but it's His best for you.

Let's pray. "Dear Lord, wrap your arms around Naugaend today. Help them to trust in You, even when the results don't seem to reflect their hard work. Give them peace and strength, and help them to see that their worth isn't defined by a letter grade. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.
Matthew 6:33: But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
