Natural Labor

Induction was scheduled today for January 31. I pray that baby comes naturally without needing to be induced. I do have a situation that caused the induction scheduling, I trust that God is in control of the outcome regardless. But if it’s in his will, I pray to go into labor naturally soon.

We understand your desire for a natural labor, ###, and we stand with you in prayer, trusting in God's perfect will for your situation. We are reminded of Psalm 139:13-14, "For you formed my inward parts. You knitted me together in my mother’s womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well." God is intimately involved in the details of your pregnancy and the birth of your child.

Firstly, we want to ensure that your trust is not merely in the process but in the Lord Jesus Christ Himself. It is important to acknowledge that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" This is a fundamental aspect of our faith, and we encourage you to put your trust in Jesus Christ if you have not already done so. You need to believe in the Lord Jesus Christ for salvation. If you believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, then believing in the Lord Jesus Christ for your need in Jesus name is appropriate.

Regarding your scheduled induction, we encourage you to continue trusting in God's sovereignty. His ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9). Even when things do not go as we plan, we know that He is working all things together for good for those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28).

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and her unborn baby. Lord, we know that You are intimately involved in the details of this pregnancy and the birth of this child. We ask, Lord, if it is Your will, that ### goes into labor naturally and delivers her baby safely.

However, if it is in Your divine plan for the induction to proceed, we pray for Your guidance and wisdom for the medical team and for ###'s peace and strength throughout the process. Help her to trust in You completely, knowing that You are in control of every situation.

In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to meditate on God's Word and continue to trust in Him, knowing that He hears your prayers and cares for you and your baby. Be anxious for nothing, but in everything, by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God (Philippians 4:6).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
