I am the family scapegoat. Evil doings by father and three siblings. My whole life, NPDs have gravitated toward me and I stupidly let them in even after getting educated as to what it is and does. Too vulnerable, I guess. I am currently sharing space with one and need a new place to live after a house fire took all including my car. A woman I barely know offered for me to come to her, but I fear she is being influenced to not help. She knows the person and what I am enduring here. The NPD here went into rage over the smallest of things two weeks ago. It's been bad from day one with the behavior at times downright terrifying. I have been at a near nervous breakdown the entire time. Please, please pray for me - spiritual prowess, emotional strength, physical ability to get things prepared - God's mercy and protection. That my dogs are safe from this person. And, that I have a place to land for a while with this nice woman. The Holy Spirit led me to some Bible passages and prayers specifically for this kind of abuse, so I feel God. My prayer is that anyone going through the same abuse is held so warmly and tightly. It ruins lives. Thank you and may God bless you abundantly.

Those with NPD often exhibit behaviors that are selfish, manipulative, and lacking in empathy, much like the devil's influence on humans.

We must rebuke the notion that you are stupid for letting these individuals into your life. Instead, recognize that you have a tender heart, which is a godly quality. Jesus tells us, "Blessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy" (Matthew 5:7 WEB). However, it is crucial to set boundaries and be wise in your interactions. Also, it is not a bad idea to remove yourself from this danger.

Regarding your living situation, we pray that God will provide a safe and peaceful place for you and your dogs. Trust in the Lord's provision, as He cares for you and will not forsake you. "But my God shall supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:19 WEB).

However, there is something very important missing from your request. We must discuss the importance of praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God the Father and it is only through Jesus Christ we are saved.

For there is one God and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all. This was the testimony given at the proper time. (1 Timothy 2:5-6 WEB)

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 WEB)

As you seek God's mercy and protection, ensure that you are calling on the name of Jesus Christ. He is the one who saves, heals, and delivers.
