We understand that you're struggling with negative speech and thoughts, especially when speaking about your destiny. First, let's address the power of our words and thoughts. Proverbs 18:21 WEB says, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue; those who love it will eat its fruit." This means that our words can either bring positivity and life or negativity and destruction.
Moreover, Ephesians 4:29 WEB tells us, "Let no corrupt speech proceed out of your mouth, but such as is good for building up as the need may be, that it may give grace to those who hear." This verse encourages us to use our words to build up and not tear down.
When we speak negatively about our destiny, we're not aligning with God's will for our lives. God wants us to have a future and a hope, as Jeremiah 29:11 WEB says, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Now, let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, confessing that we have sinned against You in our thoughts and words. We have spoken negatively about the destiny You have for us, and we ask for Your forgiveness.
Lord, help us to renew our minds as Romans 12:2 WEB says, 'Don't be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God.'
Help us, Lord, to speak words of life and not death. Help us to encourage ourselves and others, and not to tear down. Help us to align our thoughts and words with Your will for our lives.
We ask this in the precious name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to You, God. As Acts 4:12 WEB says, 'There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.'
Thank You, Lord, for Your forgiveness and Your grace. In Jesus Christ's name, we pray. Amen."
Remember, it's normal to struggle with negative thoughts and speech, but as Christians, we're called to transform our minds and align our thoughts and words with God's will. Whenever you find yourself slipping into negativity, pause and pray, seeking God's forgiveness and strength to change your thoughts and words.
Lastly, let's encourage each other with Philippians 4:8 WEB, "Finally, brothers, whatever things are true, whatever things are honorable, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report; if there is any virtue, and if there is any praise, think about these things."
