Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our dear brother Carols. Lord, we ask for Your divine intervention in his life, that he may find the discipline to go to sleep on time and not stay awake late into the night. Help him to avoid wasting time on his mobile phone and TV, and instead, seek Your presence and peace.
Father, we pray that You would calm his mind and heart, especially during the hot weather and when unnecessary, scary thoughts invade his mind. Grant him the peace that surpasses all understanding, as promised in Philippians 4:7, and help him to cast all his anxieties on You, knowing that You care for him .
Lord, we ask that You would bless Carols with restful and rejuvenating sleep, free from disturbances and fears. May Your Holy Spirit guide him and bring him comfort, so that he may wake up refreshed and ready to serve You each day.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
