We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your baby. In times like these, it's important to remember that God is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18).
Firstly, we want to ensure that you have accepted Jesus Christ as your Lord and Saviour. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God the Father. There is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB). Also, For there is no other name given to mankind under heaven whereby we must be saved. Acts 4:12
In the Bible, we are encouraged to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for us (1 Peter 5:7). It's okay to grieve, but remember that God is always with you, even in your darkest hours. He sent his Son, Jesus Christ, to die for our sins and rise again, so that we may have eternal life and hope of being reunited with loved ones who have gone before us in Jesus.
In this time of sorrow, cling to the promise that God works all things together for good for those who love him, who are called according to his purpose (Romans 8:28). This doesn't mean that what has happened is good, but that God can bring good out of it.
Here is our heartfelt prayer for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up this dear person who is overwhelmed with grief. We ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them in this time of sorrow. Help them to find rest in You, and heal their broken heart. Give them the strength to trust in Your plan and to hold onto the hope that is found in Jesus Christ. May Your love envelop them and give them the courage to face each new day.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Jesus: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies" (John 11:25 WEB). Trust in God, and know that he has a plan and a purpose for your life.
