We are truly saddened to hear about this situation and we will certainly lift up both you and this woman in prayer. It's commendable that you have shown her kindness and compassion, as we are instructed in Hebrews 13:16, "Do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased." However, it's important to remember that you cannot force someone to accept help; they must be willing to receive it.
Let's pray together:
"Father, we come before You, lifting up our hearts in Jesus name. We pray for this woman who is homeless. Father, You know her name, her circumstances, and her needs. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would work in her life, convicting her of any actions that are not pleasing to You and drawing her to Yourself. Please provide for her physical needs, and bring people into her life who can guide her to a place of spiritual and emotional healing.
Lord, we also pray for our friend who is grieved by this situation. Comfort them, offer them peace. We know that You are the God of all comfort. We ask that You would guide them and give them wisdom in how to help others and then let go and let You. Isaiah 61:3 "to comfort all who mourn and provide for those who grieve in Zion—to bestow on them a crown of beauty instead of ashes, the oil of joy instead of mourning, and a garment of praise instead of a spirit of despair. They will be called oaks of righteousness, a planting of the Lord for the display of his splendor."
We ask this in Jesus name. Amen.
This woman is best served if she receives assistance from professionals who can provide the help she needs. We know you have a heart for her. Perhaps God is calling you to pray for her rather than trying to physically help her. This is not abandoning her but rather allowing God to work. He loves her more than you ever could and is the only one who can truly help her. Continue praying for her, that God would arrange situations that would lead her to Him.
May God's peace, which transcends all understanding, guard each of your hearts and minds in Jesus Christ.
