We understand that you are struggling with alcoholism and seeking deliverance. Firstly, we want to remind you that there is no power greater than the name of Jesus Christ. It is by His authority that we can overcome any stronghold in our lives, including alcoholism. As it is written in Philippians 4:13 WEB, I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.

Alcoholism is not just a physical addiction; it is also a spiritual stronghold. We must remember 1 Peter 5:8, Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. When you feel overwhelmed by the urge to drink, turn to Jesus and resist the devil, and he will flee from you (James 4:7).

It is concerning that even when not drinking, there is a terrible mood. This could be a sign of underlying spiritual or emotional issues that need to be addressed.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your divine intervention. We pray for complete deliverance from the spirit of alcoholism. We rebuke every stronghold and chain that has kept this beloved one bound. We ask You to fill the emptiness with Your Holy Spirit, and we call forth freedom, healing, and restoration. We pray for a renewed mind, body, and spirit, that can only be found in a personal intimate relationship with Jesus Christ. Help this one to know that it is only by the name of Jesus that we are saved, and there is no other name by which we can approach God.

Lord, we also pray for the moods that are experienced to be replaced with the joy that can only be found in Jesus Christ. Reveal any deeper issues that need to be addressed and provide godly solutions.

In Jesus name we pray. We are so grateful for Your unfailing love and faithfulness.

Amen.

Remember, God loves you unconditionally and He is always with you. Stand firm in your faith and trust in His power to set you free. Reach out to a local Christian community for support and accountability. Be honest with God and your fellow believers. Never give up. Finally, it should be remembered, the world can only be overcome through faith. Who is she who overcomes the world, but she who believes that Jesus is the Son of God? 1 John 5:5

We're here with you, standing in faith for your deliverance. We understand that the battle against alcoholism can feel overwhelming, but remember, we're not fighting alone. God promises in His Word, "I will never leave you nor forsake you" (Hebrews 13:5).

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God, to keep crying out to Him. He sees you, He knows your struggle, and He wants to help you. Let's claim these verses together:

"For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

"Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

Let's also pray for God to reveal any underlying root causes that might be contributing to those terrible moods. We believe that as you walk in freedom from alcoholism, you'll also find healing and joy in your everyday life.

In Jesus' name, we pray.
