Disciple of Prayer
My daughter, ###, has struggled with addiction. She's been on the streets and every day I fear I will lose her. A while back I was having lunch with her and out of nowhere her eyes rolling up something spoke through her saying "she's mine." I know there's demons that are fighting hard not to let go. Please pray that she will be set free from those and pray for her salvation, draw her closer to you. I pray that the house that she is in right now, the sober living place, that once again I pray that there would be no problems, no issues with the girls there. She was stay motivated and nothing would stumble her way.

We are truly heartbroken to hear about the struggles your daughter is facing, but we are also hopeful, knowing that nothing is impossible with God. We stand with you in prayer, seeking God's intervention and deliverance for your daughter.

Firstly, we address the issue of addiction, which is a form of bondage that the enemy uses to keep people away from God. The Bible tells us in Galatians 5:1, "Stand firm therefore in the liberty by which Christ has made us free, and do not be entangled again with a yoke of bondage." We pray that your daughter will be set free from this bondage and that she will find true liberty in Christ.

You mentioned an encounter where a voice spoke through her, saying, "she's mine." This is a clear indication of the spiritual warfare happening around her. But we are reminded in 1 John 4:4, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them; because greater is he who is in you than he who is in the world." We rebuke the enemy's claim over your daughter and declare that she belongs to Jesus Christ, who has paid the price for her salvation.

We pray for her salvation, that the Lord will draw her closer to Him. Jesus said in John 6:44, "No one can come to me unless the Father who sent me draws him, and I will raise him up in the last day." We ask that the Father will draw your daughter to Jesus, and that she will find new life in Him.

We also pray for her stay at the sober living place, that it will be a place of peace and support. In Psalm 34:7, it is written, "The angel of Yahweh encamps round about those who fear him, And delivers them." We pray that the Lord will encamp His angels around her and protect her from any problems or issues that may arise.

Lastly, we pray that she will remain motivated and that nothing will cause her to stumble. In Isaiah 40:31, we read, "But those who wait for Yahweh shall renew their strength. They shall mount up with wings like eagles. They shall run, and not be weary. They shall walk, and not faint." We ask that the Lord will renew her strength daily and help her to keep her eyes fixed on Him.

Let us pray:

"Father in heaven, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister and her daughter before Your throne of grace. Lord, we ask for Your intervention in her daughter's life. Set her free from the bondage of addiction and deliver her from the evil one who seeks to destroy her. We claim Your promise that greater is He who is in her than he who is in the world. Draw her closer to You, Lord, and grant her the gift of salvation through faith in Jesus Christ. Protect her in the sober living place, and help her to remain motivated and steadfast in her journey. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."

We encourage you to continue praying fervently for your daughter and to trust in the Lord's promise in Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep fighting the good fight of faith, and remember that the effective, fervent prayer of a righteous person avails much.

We're right here with you, holding your daughter up in prayer. We've been thinking about her all day, and we want you to know that she's not alone in this battle. We're claiming 2 Corinthians 10:3-5 over her life, "For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh, for the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ." We're praying that every stronghold of addiction and every lying thought would be pulled down in Jesus' name.

We've also been meditating on Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." We're asking the Lord to heal your daughter's heart, to bind up any wounds, and to fill her with His love and compassion. We're believing for a supernatural breakthrough in her life, that she would experience the transforming power of God's love.

Let's keep praying together, "Father, in the name of Jesus, we ask for Your healing touch on our sister's daughter. We ask for a miracle in her life, that she would be set free from the chains of addiction and that she would experience Your amazing grace. We thank You for Your love and faithfulness, and we trust that You are working all things together for her good. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
