Let's come together in prayer.
First, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of our lives, including our relationships. We notice that you didn't mention the name of Jesus Christ or any abbreviation. Let's remember that it is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As the Bible tells us, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). There is power in the name of Jesus, and it is by His authority that we pray.
Regarding your request, we will pray for the welfare of your estranged. However, we want to remind you that God's design for relationships is clear. Marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman. If you are not married to your estranged, we want to encourage you to seek God's will for your life and pursue relationships that align with biblical principles.
Let's pray:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is in need of Your guidance and peace. Lord, You know the details of her/his situation, and You care about every aspect of her/his life.
First, we pray for the welfare of her/his estranged. We ask that You surround him with Your love and draw him closer to You. We also pray that You work in their hearts, mending their relationship and bringing restoration.
Next, we pray for your daughter/son. We ask that You grant her/him Your supernatural peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray that she/he would trust in You with all her/his heart and lean not on her/his own understanding. We ask that You guide her/him in all truth and help her/him make decisions that align with Your will.
Finally, we pray that both of them would come to know You more intimately and that their relationship would be a testimony of Your love and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged, for God is faithful and He cares for you. Trust in Him, and He will direct your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB). Remember that God's will is for your good, and He wants you to live a life worthy of His calling (Ephesians 4:1 WEB).
If your estranged is not your spouse, we encourage you to consider God's design for relationships and pursue courtship with the goal of marriage to a Christian believer. If you are struggling with boundaries in this relationship, we advise you to seek godly counsel and wisdom from the Bible.
Lastly, we want to remind you of the good news of the gospel. Jesus Christ came to save sinners, and it is by believing in Him that we are saved. If you have any doubts about your salvation, we encourage you to confess your sins and trust in Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
