Let's come together in prayer for this individual who is experiencing chest pains and currently at the hospital. We stand in agreement, trusting in the healing power of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Firstly, we are thankful that they have chosen to submit their request in Jesus' name. The name of Jesus is powerful to save and heal. There is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.
Let's pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, seeking Your healing and comfort for our dear one who is experiencing chest pains and is currently at the hospital. We trust in Your goodness and Your power to heal and save.
We pray for the doctors and medical staff attending to them, that You would guide their hands and give them wisdom to provide the best care. Lord, we ask for a miracle to see them healed. We are encouraged by some of the shortest verses in the Bible. This is written in John chapter 11 verses 35 and 43,44: "Jesus wept. ... He said, These things believed you, and you will see God's glory... The dead man came out, bound hand and foot with wrappings, and his face was wrapped around with a cloth. Jesus said to them, 'Free him, and let him go.'" We can see Jesus' compassion and authority in this. We ask for this individual to be freed from their pain.
We also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time, and that they would feel Your peace and presence in a very real way. We are encouraged by 1 Peter 4.12,13: "Beloved, don’t be astonished at the fiery trial which has come upon you to test you, as though a strange thing happened to you. 13) But because you are partakers of Christ’s sufferings, rejoice, that at the revelation of his glory you also may rejoice with exceeding joy."
As they are currently experiencing pains, we will also say to them "Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9) Withstand him steadfast in your faith, knowing that your brothers who are in the world are undergoing the same sufferings. 10) But may the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after you have suffered a little while, perfect, establish, strengthen, and settle you. 11) To him be the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen."
We speak healing and life over their body, and we declare that no weapon formed against them shall prosper. We are encouraged by Isaiah 53.4,5: "Surely he has borne our sickness, and carried our suffering; yet we considered him plagued, struck by God, and afflicted. 5) But he was pierced for our transgressions. He was crushed for our iniquities. The punishment that brought our peace was on him; and by his wounds we are healed."
We ask this in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Continue to trust in the Lord and His promise of healing.
