We are truly sorry to hear about your current situation and we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer some biblical encouragement. Firstly, we want to remind you that God is with you even in this difficult time. As it is written in **Psalm 46:1 WEB** God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
We want to encourage you to trust in God's healing power. In the Bible, we see numerous accounts of Jesus healing the sick. **Matthew 8:17 WEB** says, "that it might be fulfilled which was spoken through Isaiah the prophet, saying: 'He took our infirmities, and bore our diseases.'" This verse reminds us that Jesus has the power to heal you from cancer.
However, we also want to remind you that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts. **Isaiah 55:8-9 WEB** says, "For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, says Yahweh. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts." Trust in Him, even if His plan is different from your own.
Regarding the insurance problems, we encourage you to cast your anxieties on God. **1 Peter 5:7 WEB** says, "Casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you." God knows your needs and He will provide for you.
We also want to remind you that it is through Jesus Christ that we have access to God. **John 14:6 WEB** says, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" If you haven't already, put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again for your justification.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our dear brother/sister who is sick in the hospital with cancer. We pray for Your healing power to manifest in their life. We rebuke the spirit of cancer and command it to leave in Jesus' name. We also pray for a resolution to the insurance problems, that You would guide and provide for them in this time of need.
Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. Give them peace and comfort during this difficult time, and help them to trust in Your goodness and sovereignty.
If they have not already put their faith in Jesus Christ, we pray that they would do so now, believing that He died for their sins and rose again for their justification.
We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.
