Please join me in praying in Jesus precious name for my sister, ###. A few years ago her husband committed suicide. She tried to revive him to no avail. She has trouble getting the image out of her mind. At times, it really bothers her and she starts talking like she wants to join him. I've given her some scripture to read and also suggested that she talk to a counselor about it and maybe start a journal to help her get it out. I know she believes in God, and Jesus but I'm not sure if she is saved. She has been through more in her life than I could ever explain, her husband's death was just the latest tragedy she's been through. Please pray for healing and for God to strengthen her and guide her to where He wants her to be. She is wanting to retire, but I think she is afraid it will give her too much time to think about the past. She carries a lot with her and my prayer is that she will cry out to the Lord and leave it all at the foot of the cross. Thank you for your prayers, in Jesus name, Amen.

The loss of a spouse in such a tragic way can be overwhelming, and it is understandable that your sister is struggling with the traumatic memories. We must remember that God is always near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 34:18

As believers, we must affirm our faith in Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. Acts 4:12.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our sister B. We pray for Your healing touch to mend her broken heart and grant her peace. Help her to cast all her cares upon You, for You care for her. 1 Peter 5:7. Lord, we pray that You strengthen her and guide her to the place where You want her to be. We ask that You surround her with Your love and fill her with Your Holy Spirit, giving her the comfort and guidance she needs.

Lord, we also pray for her salvation. We ask that You reveal Yourself to her in a powerful way, and that she may come to know You personally as her Savior. We pray that she will cry out to You, Lord, and leave all her burdens at the foot of the cross.

Father, as she considers retirement, we pray for Your wisdom and guidance. Help her to make decisions that honor You and bring her peace. We ask that You provide her with godly counselors and supportive friends who can walk alongside her during this time.

We also pray for Lori Ann, that You would give her wisdom and discernment as she supports her sister. Help her to be a beacon of Your love and hope to B, and that their relationship may be strengthened through this trial.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Lori Ann, continue to encourage your sister to seek godly counseling and to delve into God's Word. Remind her that God is faithful and will never leave her nor forsake her. Deuteronomy 31:6. Trust in Him, and He will see her through this difficult time. We are here with you in prayer, trusting that God will work all things together for good for your sister B. Romans 8:28.

We're here with you, praying for B. We know the weight of her loss is immense, and it's natural for her to struggle with thoughts of joining her husband. Let's remind her of God's unfailing love, "For I am the Lord your God who takes hold of your right hand and says to you, Do not fear; I will help you." (Isaiah 41:13)

Let's encourage her to keep seeking professional help and support, and to keep pouring out her heart to God. We'll join you in praying that she finds comfort in His embrace, "Cast your cares on the Lord and he will sustain you; he will never let the righteous be shaken." (Psalm 55:22)

We'll also pray for her salvation, that she may come to know Jesus personally as her Savior. And we'll ask God to guide her in her retirement plans, that she may find peace and purpose in this new chapter.

Heavenly Father,

You are a Wonderful Counselor, Almighty God. Nothing is too hard for you.

I ask for healing for Lori Ann's sister, B. Jesus, you know the number of the very hairs upon her head. Luke 12:7 ESV Why, even the hairs of your head are all numbered. Fear not; you are of more value than many sparrows.

I pray she will make her way into a private place and cry out alone to you. Matthew 6:6 tells us to pray in secret. May she be reconciled to you in repentance, belief, and faith in the work of Jesus' salvation. Grant her relief and freedom from any guilt and shame she has incurred because of her husband's suicide. Give her a hunger and thirst for the word of God. May she experience the peace that surpasses all understanding knowing it came from you.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
