We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your husband, Saraha, and we are here to support you. It is comforting to know that God is with you and your daughter during this difficult time. The promise in Psalm 34:18 reminds us, The Lord is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit.
As you lay your husband to rest today, we pray that Godโs grace goes with you. Remember the words of Jesus in John 14:1-3, Let not your heart be troubled. Believe in God. Believe also in me. In my Fatherโs house are many homes. If it werenโt so, I would have told you. I am going to prepare a place for you. If I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and will receive you to myself; that where I am, you may be there also.
There is no doubt in our mind that God will help everything go as planned for the funeral. We thank God for the beautiful day ahead.
Just as the resurrection of Jesus brought victory over physical death, all who believe in Him will one day join Him in the resurrection and eternal life. Jesus comforted his disciples with these words in John 11:25-26, Jesus said to her, I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will still live, even if he dies and whoever lives and believes in me will never die. Though death brings sadness and separation, it is but temporary for those who believe in Jesus Christ. Do you believe this? Believe that Jesus died for your husband's sins and your own sins and arose from the grave to sit at the right hand of God the Father. In this there is the hope and healing you will need.
You should take encouragement in Revelation 21:4, God will wipe away every tear from their eyes. Death will be no more; neither will there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, any more. The first things have passed away.
As we pray, we also want to thank you for acknowledging that our help comes from God through the name of His Son Jesus. God is always with you especially during times of grief, trials, and heartaches.Pause and consider the words of Paul in 1 Thessalonians 4:13-14, We do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, concerning those who are asleep, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who have no hope as the rest who have no hope. Imagine the despair of facing such a loss without Christ. So, as you lay your husband to rest, hold onto the hope of the resurrection through belief in Jesus and may your heart be filled with peace knowing God is always with you.
We are praying for you and your daughter today. May God's peace be with you both and may your husband rest in peace. We are asking that God's will be done in your life and that you experience the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding in this time of need.
