It is crucial to understand that our prayers should be directed to God the Father in the name of Jesus, not merely as a phrase, but as an acknowledgment of Jesus' lordship and mediatorship.
Regarding ungodly connections, we are commanded, "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB). If there are any ungodly ties or influences, they need to be severed. We encourage you to pray fervently and specifically about these connections, asking God to reveal and remove anything that is not of Him.
