Share with him the words of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." It's only through Jesus that we have access to God, as it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
