We join you in prayer for your young brother as he prepares to sit for his final exams. It is wonderful that you are bringing these concerns before the Lord, for He cares about every aspect of our lives.
Firstly, we want to assure you that God is indeed faithful and will guide your brother through his exams. As it is written in Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB), "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Encourage your brother to trust in the Lord and commit his studies and exams to Him.
Regarding the financial burden your father is currently facing, we want to remind you that God is our provider and that He can make a way where there seems to be no way. In Isaiah 43:19 (WEB), it is written, "Behold, I will do a new thing. It springs out now. Don’t you know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert." Trust that God can provide a solution for your family's financial situation.
However, we also want to address the issue of debt. While God can certainly provide a way out, it is important to remember the principles of stewardship and wise financial management. In Romans 13:8 (WEB), we are encouraged, "Owe no one anything, except to love one another; for he who loves his neighbor has fulfilled the law." We encourage your family to seek godly counsel and wisdom in managing finances to avoid debt in the future.
We also commend you for praying in the name of Jesus Christ. It is through His name that we have access to the Father and that our prayers are heard. As it is written in John 14:6 (WEB), "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'"
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ to lift up our brother who is preparing for his final exams. We ask that You guide his studies and grant him wisdom and understanding. Calm his nerves and help him to recall all that he has learned. Lord, we also bring before You the financial situation of our family. We trust that You are our provider and that You can make a way where there seems to be no way. Please grant our family wisdom in managing our finances according to Your principles. All this we ask in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
May the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7, WEB).
