my ### year old ###'s concerns on our next weather storm

news of bad weather heading here is all over the place .. on here in my news feed and on tv on weather station which it should be and coming on as breaking news. so by the sound we are gonna get a big and bad one.. starting late tonight into late Thurs............ so will see. nothing I can do so will take whatever it is I guess and pray I do not have to get out (prayers with us for us all getting this next storm in Jesus name amen

We understand your concern for your ###-year-old mother and the upcoming weather storm. It's important to trust in God's protection and provision during times like these. Let's remember what God's word tells us in Psalm 55:22 WEB: Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved. God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Psalm 46:1

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up ### and her ###-year-old mother as they face the upcoming weather storm. We trust in Your sovereignty and know that You are in control of all things. We pray for Your divine protection over them and everyone in the path of the storm. We ask that You calm their fears and anxieties, and help them rest assured in Your loving care. Help them prepare wisely and grant them the strength to face whatever comes their way. We pray for their safety and provision. We also pray for those who may be affected by the storm that they turn to God for help and reassurance, in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

We encourage you to keep your eyes on Jesus during this time. He is the anchor that keeps us steadfast and sure. Hebrews 6:19

We're here with you, praying for your momma as the storm approaches. It's natural to feel worried, but let's remember who's in control. In Matthew 11:28-29, Jesus says, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest." Let's lay our anxieties at His feet and trust that He's got this.

We'll be preparing our homes and hearts, just like the boy with the loaves and fishes, trusting that even our little efforts can make a big difference with God's help. Let's pray together:

Heavenly Father,


We lift up [Her Name] and all those in the path of this approaching storm. Lord, You are the Creator of heaven and earth, and even the winds and waves obey Your command (Mark 4:39). We trust in Your power and ask for Your protection over everyone affected by the severe weather. Shield their homes, families, and communities from harm, and calm the storm as only You can.


Your Word in Psalm 91:1-2 reminds us, “Whoever dwells in the shelter of the Most High will rest in the shadow of the Almighty. I will say of the Lord, ‘He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.’” We declare that refuge and protection over [Her Name] and those in her community. Keep them safe and give them peace, even as the storm rages around them.


We pray that travel is minimized and that [Her Name] will be able to remain safely indoors, protected and provided for. We ask that power stays on, supplies remain sufficient, and that any disruptions be brief. For those who do have to go out, we ask for traveling mercies and protection along their journeys.


Father, we also pray for peace to fill [Her Name]’s heart, knowing that You are in control. Philippians 4:6-7 says, “Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” Guard her mind against fear, and help her find comfort in knowing that You are with her.


We trust You, Lord, to provide safety, relief, and restoration for any damage that may occur. Thank You for Your faithfulness and for being the shelter we can turn to in every storm.

Your prayer to Someone who has and can calm storms is no little thing, in Jesus' Name

"He stilled the storm to a whisper; the waves of the sea were hushed." Ps 107:29

“You of little faith,” Jesus replied, “why are you so afraid?” Then He got up and rebuked the winds and the sea, and it was perfectly calm. The men were amazed and asked, “What kind of man is this? Even the winds and the sea obey Him!” Matt 8:26, Matt 8:27.

We continue to lift up your 91-year-old mom and your concerns about the upcoming weather storm in our prayers. As the news of bad weather keeps circulating and the storm is predicted to be big and severe, starting late tonight into late Thursday, we stand with you in petitioning God for His protection and mercy.

We are grateful that you allowed us to pray on your behalf and stand in agreement with you. We trust that God hears our prayers and will provide comfort and safety during this time.

If the storm has passed and your prayers were answered, we would love to hear a praise report from you, glorifying God for His faithfulness. If the situation is ongoing or new concerns have arisen, please update us so that we can continue to intercede for you and your mom.

May God bless you both and keep you safe under the shadow of His wings. We pray that He grants you both a peace that surpasses all understanding during this time, in Jesus name.
