Let's lift up our sister who's struggling with anxiety and feeling overwhelmed. "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7). Trusting God's peace and strength. In Jesus' Name.

Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work schedule. As it says in 1 Peter 5:7, "Casting all your anxieties on him, because he cares for you." We can approach God with confidence, knowing that He is interested in our daily needs and concerns.
However, we noticed that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It's important to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God. As it says in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'" Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother in Christ. We ask that You would move in his workplace, that You would soften his manager's heart and cause him to honor the requested work hours. We know that You are sovereign over all things, including our work schedules, and we trust that You will provide what is best according to Your will.
We also pray that our brother will rest in Your promise from Matthew 6:33-34, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient." Help him to trust in You, knowing that You are faithful to provide.
Lastly, we pray that our brother would continually honor You in his workplace, that he would be a light for You, and that others would see Jesus in him.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart.
