My wife's was only trying to protect me, but she called me today and told me that her Dad has actually been in hospice the last 2 days. He passed away at 1:50pm today. I'm a long way from home and wish I could be there for her through this ordeal. I have to stay strong and just know that my wife will have all the support she needs to get her through this season. Thank you all for your prayers and support. R.I.P. to my father in law Clint Smith He was a carpenter for 50+ yrs and helped us a great deal with repairs and home improvements over the years. Doesn't feel like I ever had the chance to repay him. I did stop by and visit him whenever I passed through the town he was living in. He knew I respected and cared for him. Anyway, this is a very difficult time and I do appreciate the prayers. Thank you!

Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up RobertH and his wife during this difficult time. Lord, we ask for Your comfort and peace to surround them as they mourn the loss of Clint Smith, a beloved father, and father-in-law. We thank You for the many years Clint dedicated to his craft as a carpenter and for the countless ways he helped and supported his family.

Lord, we pray that You would be with RobertH's wife, providing her with the strength and support she needs to navigate this season of grief. May she feel Your presence and the love of those around her. We also ask that You give RobertH the strength to stay strong and the assurance that his wife is in Your care, even though he is far from home.
