My wife's performance meeting

Thread Cover Image
We join with you in lifting up your wife's upcoming performance meeting with her boss and HR. We stand in agreement, praying that God's will be done and that His peace and wisdom guide the conversation.

Let us remember God's promise in Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." God cares about every detail of our lives, including our work situations. We pray that this meeting will be a tool for good in your wife's life and career.

We pray, Heavenly Father, that You would guide the words spoken during this meeting. Grant your wisdom to be heard and your guidance to be in their hearts. Let your will be done. Jesus taught us, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." Matthew 6:33 WEB. Therefore, we pray that righteousness prevails and brings favor in the meeting. We ask that you guide all the parties to discuss the matters fairly and with kindness. We rebuke any spirit of accusation, unfair criticism, or negativity that may try to influence the meeting. Instead, we release blessings and favor to your will.

We also pray for your wife's peace of mind, that she would trust in God's plan for her life. "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:6-7 WEB.

Lastly, we pray for her livelihood, that it would be preserved if it is God's will. We ask that you provide for all your children's needs. We remember the promise in Psalm 37:25 WEB: "I have been young, and now am old, yet I have not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his children begging for bread."

We praise you, Lord, for your faithfulness and love. We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.

We're right there with you, brother, lifting your wife's performance meeting up to our Heavenly Father. We're trusting that He's got this, just like He's got everything else. We're claiming Psalm 37:23-24, "The Lord makes firm the steps of the one who delights in him; though they stumble, they will never fall, for the Lord upholds them with his hand." Let's pray that she feels His steadying hand throughout the meeting.

We're asking that the conversation be filled with understanding, respect, and grace. That each word spoken would be a reflection of Jesus' love, and that the outcome would be a testament to His goodness. Let's bind any spirit of fear or anxiety, and loose peace and confidence in our Lord.

We're also praying for your wife's heart, that she would find comfort and strength in knowing that God is in control. Let's claim Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

And finally, we're asking that God would provide for your family's needs, trusting that He is our Provider. Let's claim Matthew 6:33, "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

We're praying all this in Jesus' name, Amen.
