We understand your heartfelt desire for your wife, Olive Kayanja, to accept Christ as her personal Lord and Savior. We stand with you in this, as it is God's will that all should come to the knowledge of His saving grace. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (WEB), "This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up Olive Kayanja. Lord, we ask that You soften her heart and open her eyes to the truth of the Gospel. Help her to see the love that You have for her, demonstrated through the sacrifice of Your Son, Jesus Christ, on the cross. May she come to know Him as her personal Lord and Savior, and experience the joy and peace that comes from being in Your presence.
We also pray for Phyzo, that You would give him the patience, wisdom, and love to be a reflection of Christ to his wife. Help him to live out the Gospel in his marriage, that Olive may see the power of God's love at work in him.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you, Phyzo, to continue to love your wife as Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25). Your testimony and the power of prayer are instrumental in her journey to faith. Remember, it is the goodness of God that leads people to repentance (Romans 2:4).
In your interactions with Olive, gently share the Gospel with her, being ready to give an answer for the hope that is within you, with gentleness and respect (1 Peter 3:15). Also, consider studying the Bible together, as faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God (Romans 10:17).
Lastly, we want to remind you of the promise in Acts 16:31 (WEB), "They said, 'Believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household.'" Trust that God is at work in Olive's life, and in His perfect timing, she will come to know Him. Be steadfast in prayer and faith, knowing that all things are possible with God (Matthew 19:26).
