My wife says she’s not my wife, ...

Beloved of All
My wife says she’s not my wife, she says we are separated. I’m tired of hearing her talk crap. She wants to know how her name gets on our bills. Why am I still here? Why can’t I just die from this life and go on to be with Jesus? What’s the point in suffering with her? Our children are grown and gone. Why couldn’t we just have gotten along especially when our children were younger? Why does she have to believe in a works gospel and I believe in a faith, grace gospel?

Heavenly Father,

We come before you on behalf of ###, who is going through a difficult time in their marriage. Lord, you know the pain and confusion they are experiencing as their wife claims separation and speaks hurtful words. We ask for your guidance and healing in this situation.

Lord, we pray for reconciliation and restoration in their marriage. Soften their hearts and help them to communicate with love and understanding. May they find common ground and work towards resolving their differences. Your Word reminds us in Mark 10:9, "Therefore what God has joined together, let no one separate." We ask for your intervention, Lord, to bring unity and peace to their relationship.

Father, we lift up the issue of financial strain and confusion over bills. Grant them wisdom and clarity in managing their finances. Help them to find a solution that is fair and equitable. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:19, "And my God will meet all your needs according to the riches of his glory in Christ Jesus." Provide for their needs, Lord, and guide them in making wise financial decisions.

Lord, we also pray for ###'s emotional well-being. They express feelings of despair and a desire to be with you, Jesus. We ask for your comfort and strength to sustain them during this challenging time. Remind them of your promise in Psalm 34:18, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit." Surround them with your love and peace, Lord.

Lastly, we pray for unity in faith between ### and their wife. Help them to find common ground and understanding in their beliefs. May they both seek your truth and grow in their relationship with you. Your Word reminds us in Ephesians 4:3, "Make every effort to keep the unity of the Spirit through the bond of peace." Guide them, Lord, towards a shared understanding of your grace and salvation.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray on your behalf. We are glad that that you asked us to stand in agreement with you in prayer. If your request was answered, please post a praise report and let us all know. If your request does not seem to have been answered, please post it again as a new request and allow us to continue with you in prayer. We all hope that our prayers are answered in the way that we want. Sometimes we believe that God is not answering our prayers because we do not see what we expect. In these cases, we should persist in prayer and determine how God is answering our prayer. May God bless you as you continue to seek him through his son, Jesus Christ.
