We are with you, Betterton, lifting your wife and dearest friend before the throne of grace. We stand in agreement, believing that God, who has begun a good work in her, will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ (Philippians 1:6, WEB).
We rebuke the spirits of fear, confusion, and discouragement that may be troubling her after this seizure. We pray that God will comfort her heart and grant her peace that surpasses all understanding (Philippians 4:7, WEB). Let her take heart, for the Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit (Psalm 34:18, WEB).
We join our faith with yours, asking God for her complete healing. We believe that He is the same yesterday, today, and forever (Hebrews 13:8, WEB), and that His healing power is still available today. We pray that He will strengthen her body and restore her health for His glory.
Let us also remember the promises of God for our marriages. In sickness and in health, you both are united as one flesh (Mark 10:8, WEB). Carry each other's burdens, and in this way, you will fulfill the law of Christ (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Continue to love, cherish, and support each other, trusting that God has a purpose and a plan in this journey.
We are glad that you have acknowledged the power of prayer and the movement of God. Let us always remember to pray in the name of Jesus, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12, WEB).
Father, in the name of Jesus, we lift up Betterton's wife to You. Comfort her, encourage her, and heal her, Lord. Strengthen their marriage and let Your grace be sufficient for them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Keep holding onto faith and hope, Betterton. We are here with you, and more importantly, God is with you both.
