My wife is in hospital because she has not been eating for 3 weeks due to loss of appetite and taste buds. This has made her very unhappy and now that she is on a drip she still is not eating very much because she needs something that will stimulate her appetite again. She is 82 years old and has developed double pneumonia and a chest infection due to lying down for too long. But the hospital tests do not show any other problems.
