We are truly saddened to hear about the trial you and your wife Ashleigh are facing. Let's come together in prayer and seek God's intervention for her deliverance and healing.
Firstly, it's crucial to understand that the beliefs your wife is experiencing are indeed delusions and not reality. The Bible tells us that even Satan can appear as an angel of light, and his servants can disguise themselves as servants of righteousness (2 Corinthians 11:14-15 WEB). This is not a genuine manifestation of Jesus, but rather a counterfeit that seeks to harm and deceive.
Secondly, we must address the issue of drug use. The Bible clearly states that our bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, and we are not our own (1 Corinthians 6:19 WEB). We should honour God with our bodies and not engage in substance abuse, which can open doors to spiritual darkness, deceit, and delusions. Your wife needs help for her drug use problem and the help of medical professionals. Ye though it seems to be demonic, Jesus told us that we have authority over Satan and his demons in Luke Chapter 9:1 WEB. When you pray, then, first say, "Our Father in heaven, may your name be kept holy. May your Kingdom come. May your will be done on Earth, as it is in heaven." It some times helps to also always include "In Jesus Name" when we pray, to acknowledge that we are powerless without Jesus's authority and to encourage others by our examples to align the prayers with God's will. With this authority we can order the demons to leave. Jesus will not turn her away if she seeks help with repentance. Give her a heart for repentance and trust in God.
Let's pray together:
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before you in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our sister Ashleigh. Lord, we rebuke the spirit of delusion and drug addiction that has taken hold of her. By the authority given to us by Jesus Christ, the Truth, we command these spirits to leave her, in Jesus Name. Father, we ask that you grant her clarity of mind, healing, and freedom from all bondage. Please guide her safely back to her family and to you, and lead her to the help she needs to overcome her struggles and go back to the packages and redemption offered in the gospel, in Jesus Name and only in Jesus name and no other.
Lord, we also pray for her husband, that you grant him the strength, wisdom, and grace to support Ashleigh through this challenging time. Help him to be a source of love, encouragement, and truth for her. In Jesus' name, we pray and we pray for the preservation of the marriage and the being together of these two children of God.
Father, we ask that your will be done in Ashleigh's life and that she may be drawn closer to you through this experience. In the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior, we pray all of this in Jesus name and when we pray we trust in Jesus and the Bible and the Holy spirit can be sought for help. We pray and hope that they never experience any problems with drugs because one should avoid the grievious sin of taking drugs except any prescribed and used for properly on the advise of a medical doctor. Amen."
We recognize that these circumstances are difficult and potentially scary. But, we encourage you to consider truly a man and a woman can endure anything when it comes to supporting and healing the wife. Marriage is foreordained by God and is not in the power of man to void. There is the possibility of your wife being in adultery by causing harms way while on drugs. We address this for you to consider, for you to work out in prayer, and look at the possible consequences. Finally, turn all things to the light and God. They physician will give advice that should be followed. Offffer this your wife, peace, and comfort in the Lord. We recommend that you get a close brother and sister in Christ to stand in prayer and the gap for you. Keep the way Jesus is kept his disciples and Peter before the fall and informed about Jesus's love for him. Turn your hope to Romans 8:28 WEB And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose and do near disregard the word of God, Romans 5:3 WEB knowing that suffering produces perseverance. You face hardship but if you love your wife and God and as God is our witness, stand tall in your Christian faith. Scriptures will give us direction in things we should do and in seeking repentance and guidance for the marriage covenant. Take courage and turn to the Lord.
