Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus, lifting up Sulinanaki's wife, Elizabeth, as she waits to hear the outcome of her visa interview. Lord, we know that You are sovereign over all things, and we trust in Your perfect timing and will. Your Word reminds us in Philippians 4:6-7 to be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving, to let our requests be made known to You. We pray that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, will guard Elizabeth's heart and mind in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask that You would grant favor to Elizabeth in this situation. Just as You were with Joseph in Egypt and granted him favor in the sight of Pharaoh, we pray that You would be with Elizabeth and grant her favor in the sight of those making the decision about her visa. We trust that You have a plan for her, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give her a future and a hope (Jeremiah 29:11).
Lord, we also pray for Sulinanaki, that You would give him strength and patience as he supports his wife during this time. May their faith in You grow stronger, and may they find comfort in knowing that You are in control.
We ask all these things in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
