We understand your desire to start a family, and we want to lift you both up in prayer. However, we must first address a few concerns in light of biblical principles.
Firstly, the Bible teaches us to "flee from sexual immorality" (1 Corinthians 6:18, WEB). Having a child together outside of marriage is not in line with God's will. We encourage you both to consider marriage, as it is the holy union God intended for a man and a woman (Mark 10:6-9, WEB).
Secondly, we commend your concern for your health, but remember that God's ways are higher than ours (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB). While it's important to take care of our bodies, we should not let fears or insecurities dictate our trust in God's plan for our lives.
Let's pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before You today to lift up this couple. We ask that You guide them in Your will and help them to trust in Your timing. Lord, if it is Your will for them to start a family, we pray that You would first guide them into a holy marriage, as You have designed it. Help them to honor and glorify You in their relationship.
We also ask for Your guidance concerning their health and bodies. Lord, give them wisdom and discernment, and help them to trust in You.
Lastly, Lord, we notice that Your name was not mentioned in the request. We know that it is only through Your name that we can come to the Father (John 14:6, WEB). We pray that this couple would know You personally and grow in a relationship with You.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
