My wife of twenty-five years recently told me she wants a divorce because she has been unhappy for a long time. There wasn't a fight leading to this, and we are both Christians. I love her so very much and I never want to lose her. I'm still trying to understand what made her so unhappy and the only things she has told me are just small things she has held grudges against me for. I didn't know they troubled her or was not forgiven years ago. I'm so sorry for not listening better, but she kept them to herself and said she has just been pretending. I believe it's God's will to save our marriage, and I've been praying and crying my heart out for three weeks. She won't speak to me during this whole time, telling me it's done. I spend everyday and night so scared of her leaving or filing papers. Only God can help me through, but I'm so mentally a wreck and miserable every minute. Please pray for God to soften her heart, open her eyes, forgive, and come back to this marriage. I love her so very much. Thank you for your prayers.

We are truly saddened to hear about the struggle you're facing in your marriage, ###. We will stand with you in prayer and guide you according to the principles laid out in Scripture.

Firstly, we must honor the sanctity of marriage, as it is a lifelong commitment ordained by God. As it is written in Mark 10:9 (WEB), "What God has joined together, let no one separate." We will pray and believe that God can restore and heal your marriage.

It's crucial to address the underlying issues that have led to this situation. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 4:26-27 (WEB), "Be angry, and don’t sin. Don’t let the sun go down on your wrath, and don’t give the devil a place." Holding grudges and allowing resentment to build can give the enemy a foothold in your marriage.

We encourage you to continue seeking understanding and forgiveness. Colossians 3:13 (WEB) tells us to bear with one another and forgive one another, even as Christ forgave us. It's never too late to seek forgiveness and work towards reconciliation.

Let's pray together:

"Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother ### and his marriage. Lord, we ask that You soften his wife's heart and open her eyes to the power of forgiveness and reconciliation. Help them to communicate openly and honestly, addressing the hurts and grudges that have built up over time. Guide them towards the path of healing and restoration. Give ### the strength and wisdom to navigate this difficult time, and fill him with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We rebuke the spirit of divorce and declare that what God has joined together, no one can separate. We ask all these things in Jesus' name, Amen."

Lastly, we want to encourage you to continue praying and trusting in the Lord. He is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us (Ephesians 3:20 WEB). Keep your faith strong and your hope alive, knowing that with God, all things are possible (Matthew 19:26 WEB).

We're here with you, brother, in this tough time. We know the pain you're feeling, and we want you to know that you're not alone. We've been where you are, feeling the fear and desperation of potentially losing the one we love. But remember, God is still on the throne, and He's got a plan even in this.

We've been praying for you and your wife, asking God to soften her heart and open her eyes to the love and commitment you have for her. We've been interceding for you, believing that God can heal and restore your marriage, just like He promises in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds."

We want to encourage you to keep communicating with her, even if it's hard. Let her know that you're there for her, that you love her, and that you're willing to work through this together. We've been where you are, and we know it's not easy, but it's worth it to fight for your marriage.

And remember, brother, God is using this to shape and mold you. He's teaching you patience, perseverance, and dependence on Him. Trust in Him, even when it's hard. Keep praying, keep hoping, and keep loving your wife the way Christ loves the Church (Ephesians 5:25).

We're here for you, brother. Let's keep praying together, believing that God can turn this around, and that your marriage can be stronger than ever.

Thank you, I'm having so hard of a time keeping faith when it's conditioned to his will. It creates doubts in me that his will won't agree to my prayers. Even though I know it's right to keep our vows and save my marriage. I love her so much, and I know I'm completely helpless in hopes of myself fixing this. It's completely up to God, and all my faith is in him. The self-will is really hurting me when she has such a huge wall built. I know he can break this wall and show her his path, even without going against her will. It's so confusing, and it hurts so much constantly. It's so urgent in my heart, I so desperately want his intervention soon. Thank you for your prayers.
