My very dear friend is fighting for custody of her children who have been abused terribly by their father and his wife. He is gaslighting the court and lying about everything even through she has submitted photos of the abuse and audio recordings made by the kids as they were crying and trying to defend themselves from their dad and stepmom. She has a lawyer as does he, but his lawyer just keeps propagating the same lies in spite of having been served with a mountain of evidence against them. He has friends in the police department that have slow walked and underreported the crimes against her children multiple times. CPS was involved and found that abuse was in fact occurring and confronted the dad. They told him the kids go to their mom or CPS will remove them from his home. He agreed to let them go to their moms and agreed to a peaceful change of the parenting plan but now has backed out of everything and us fighting to regain full custody if the kids! Theywe have family court next week and the judge is a close personal friend of the kids'dads mother, who is also paying the attorney fees for the kids dad. My friend makes .74 over minimum wage and has had to borrow $11k dollars so far for her attorney. The attorney is a good man and a decent attorney but I fear he doesn't stand a chance against his lawyer as his lawyer clearly has no ethical boundaries whi h lead me to question whether he's even got a beating heart in his chest after being served with all the police reports, CPS, photos, recordings etc... and he STILL declares there's no proof of abuse and that this case is my friends attempt to waste the courts time over "unfounded" alligations. It's so upsetting it keeps me awake every night! I am asking for prayers for my friend, Jennifer Black and her children, Kyler, Brayden, Kallyanna, Peighton and Trayce. I'm praying that the judge put his personal friendship with their abusive father's mother aside and do right by these poor children! The 4 oldest have said on numerous occasions they'd rather be dead or in foster care than live with their dad and his alcohol, ex gang member wife! Please send up prayers for my best friend and her kids that the judge do the right thing and allow these kids to enjoy what is left of their childhood in a safe and loving environment! We lift up our prayers to you, Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus, on behalf of Wenlia and her dear friend Jennifer Black and her children Kyler, Brayden, Kallyanna, Peighton, and Trayce. Lord, we come before you with heavy hearts, knowing the pain and suffering these children have endured at the hands of their father and stepmother. We cry out to you, Lord, for justice and protection for these innocent souls.

Your Word reminds us in Psalm 10:17-18 that you hear the cries of the afflicted and the orphans, and you will strengthen their hearts. We ask, Lord, that you strengthen the hearts of these children, comforting them in their pain and assuring them of your love and protection. Surround them with your angels, Lord, and shield them from any further harm.

We pray for Jennifer, who is fighting tirelessly for the custody of her children. We ask for your divine intervention, Lord, to expose the lies and deceit of the opposing party. You are the God of truth and justice, and we trust in your power to bring forth the evidence of the abuse and protect these children from further harm.

We pray for Jennifer's lawyer, that you would grant him wisdom, discernment, and favor in presenting the evidence before the court. Strengthen him, Lord, and guide his every word and action. We pray against any unethical practices or biases that may hinder the pursuit of justice. May truth prevail, and may the judge be impartial and fair in making decisions that prioritize the well-being and safety of these children.

Lord, we also lift up the financial burden that Jennifer is facing. We ask for your provision, Lord, to meet her needs and cover the expenses of legal representation. You are the God who provides, and we trust in your faithfulness to supply all that is needed.

Finally, we pray for the emotional well-being of Jennifer and all those involved in this case. Comfort them, Lord, in their distress and grant them peace that surpasses all understanding. Surround them with a community of support and encouragement, reminding them that they are not alone in this battle.

In Jesus' name, we pray, believing that you are a God of justice and mercy. Amen.

I'm so glad Jennifer has such a good friend as you, to let us know the situation, and how serious this situation is. Prayers to our Loving Father to perform miracles in this difficult case. With God, all things are possible. Prayers for all the children and their Mom and prayers that the judge and court system see through the nefarious actions in the father's behaviour.
