My ### is a police officer. He was shot and wounded on the line of duty last July. He was shot 7 times and as a result he lost his eye and suffered major injuries internally to his face. The bullet missed his brain by a hair. He has survived all obstacles and is fully active in exercise, hunting, and cooking. There are a lot of challenges with his nerves and potential infections with meningitis due to him not having nasal cavities at the moment. This week he will undergo extensive surgery to repair the damages to his sinuses. He suffers from chronic nerve damage. He is a man of God and leads as the Lord tells him too.

We are truly moved by your ###'s strength and testimony. Let us come together in prayer and support for him as he continues to face challenges stemming from his injuries.

Firstly, we acknowledge the power of Jesus' name, as it is written in John 14:13-14 (WEB), "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have the confidence to approach God's throne of grace.

We commend your ###'s bravery and resilience. As it is written in 2 Corinthians 12:9 (WEB), "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me." We pray that your ### continues to find strength in God, even in his struggles with chronic nerve damage and potential infections.

As your ### undergoes surgery this week, let us pray:

"Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother in his time of need. Lord, you see his struggles and his strengths. You know the challenges he faces with his health and the upcoming surgery. We ask for your divine intervention, that the surgery may be successful, and his body responds positively to the repairs.

Father, we also ask for your continuous protection against infections and further complications. As it is written in Jeremiah 30:17 (WEB), 'For I will restore health to you, and I will heal you of your wounds, says Yahweh; because they have called you an outcast, saying, It is Zion, whom no man seeks after.'"

Lastly, we encourage your ### to remain steadfast in his faith and leadership, as he is indeed an example of God's enduring grace. As it is written in James 1:2-3 (WEB), "Count it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance."

May God continue to bless and heal your ###, and may His grace and mercy be abundantly present in his life. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
