Firstly, we want to remind you of the importance of putting God at the center of your relationship. As it is written in Ecclesiastes 4:12, "If one person falls, the other can reach out and help. But someone who falls alone is in real trouble. Likewise, two people lying close together can keep each other warm. But how can one be warm alone? A person standing alone can be attacked and defeated, but two can stand back-to-back and conquer. Three are even better, for a triple-braided cord is not easily broken." This verse underscores the strength of a union where God is the third cord.
However, we notice that your request does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God and salvation. It is also the only name by which we can be saved.

We also want to touch on the sanctity of marriage. As you both look towards marriage, ensure that your relationship remains pure and holy before God. As Ephesians 5:3 states, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints." This is a reminder that sex before or outside of marriage is considered fornication, and it is important to honor God and each other by maintaining purity. Also, remember that a biblical marriage has Christ at the center and is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman.

We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Your child who has found love and understanding. We pray for Your protection over their relationship, that no one would be able to tear them apart. We ask that You open the doors for a godly marriage between them, if it is Your will, and that You guide them in Your timing and way.
We also pray for their purity, that they would honor each other and You in their relationship. Help them to grow together in faith and love, with Your Son Jesus Christ at the center of their union.
