Heavenly Father,
We come before You today with humble hearts, lifting up our dear brother, ###, who is experiencing pain and discomfort in his tongue and mucus passages. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is too difficult for You. Your Word tells us in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all His benefits: who forgives all your iniquities, who heals all your diseases."
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon ###'s tongue. Please soothe the tiny wounds and bring relief from the pain and dryness he is experiencing. We know that You are able to restore health and bring comfort, as You have done for so many throughout history. We also pray for the healing of his mucus passages, that the constant disturbance and discomfort he feels, especially during sleep, may be alleviated.
Lord, we trust in Your power and Your love for ###. We ask that You grant him restful sleep and relief from the tiredness that has come from these ailments. Your Word in Isaiah 53:5 reminds us that "by His stripes we are healed." We stand on this promise, believing that You can and will bring healing to ###'s body.
We also pray for wisdom and guidance for any medical professionals who may be involved in his care. May they have the insight and knowledge needed to assist in his healing process.
Father, we thank You for hearing our prayers and for Your faithfulness. We pray all these things in the mighty and precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior.
