Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up Hothorgainey's teenage daughter to you. We thank you for her desire to excel in everything she does, but we also recognize the burden she carries and the pressure she puts on herself. Lord, we ask for your divine intervention in her life.
Your Word reminds us in Matthew 11:28-30, "Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy and my burden is light." We pray that you would help her release the weight of perfectionism and find rest in you.
Father, we ask that you comfort her in her moments of struggle and tears. Fill her heart with your peace and assurance that she is loved and accepted just as she is. Help her to understand that her worth is not determined by her achievements, but by her identity in Christ.
We also pray for Hothorgainey and the parents as they navigate these teenage years. Give them wisdom, patience, and understanding as they support their daughter. Guide them in providing a safe and nurturing environment where she can grow into a strong and stable adult who loves you, Jesus.
Lord, we trust in your faithfulness and your ability to bring healing and transformation. We pray that this season of pressure and self-doubt passes quickly, and that she can experience joy and freedom in her pursuits. May she find her identity and purpose in you, and may her confidence be rooted in your love.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
