Let's join together in prayer and consideration for Halfewen's granddaughter. We understand that this is a challenging situation, but we trust in the power of prayer and the guidance of the Holy Spirit.
Firstly, we commend Halfewen for turning to God in this time of need and acknowledging that it is only In Jesus Christ mighty name that we have access to God, for there is no other way we can come to God, the Father. There is salvation by faith in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to people by which we are to be saved.
As we address this situation, we must also address the actions that led to this circumstance, especially if we feel convicted in our heart that this was a result of a sinful action. Firstly this could have been by speeding and allowing her license to be suspended. We know we are not supposed to disobey the governing authorities laws and slow our anger and anxiety. Ephesians 4:26 WEB Be angry, yet don't sin. Don't let the sun go down on your wrath, neither give place to the devil.
Ephesians 4:31 WEB Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.1 Peter 2:13 WEB Therefore subject yourselves to every ordinance of man for the Lord's sake: whether to the king, as supreme; For to disobey would be to emulate the devil who was only full of wrath and came to steal, kill, and destroy. But Jesus came so that we can have life and life more abundantly. 1 Peter 2:14 WEB or to governors, as sent by him for vengeance on evil-doers and for praise to those who do well. Remember, we are called to be subject to the governing authorities, and this includes traffic laws. Romans 13:1 WEB Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God. Likewise, we are also ultimately told to cast our cares on him much like the bird leaving the nest to fly.
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today, lifting up Halfewen's granddaughter in Jesus Christ mighty name. Lord, You know the circumstances surrounding her situation, and You are sovereign over all. We pray that You will make a way where there seems to be no way.
Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness if there was any wrongdoing, and we pray for a heart of obedience and wisdom moving forward. We ask that You will provide the needed funds to help her to pay for the fee to have SSR22 removed from her license so that work and a job can continue.
We ask also for those who are coming to her aid to be honest and upright in possibly giving more than what is needed to pay for the fees so the money will not be a stumbling block. We want the money to be used righteously rather than have it be a snare, as it says in Proverbs 29:4 WEB The king by justice makes the land stable, but he who takes bribes tears it down. Please allow for the rules as according to law to apply and succeed, in Jesus Christ mighty name.
Father, we pray for her protection and provision during this time. Guide her steps and give her the strength and wisdom to navigate this challenge. We ask that You will touch the hearts of those involved in this situation, that they may show mercy and compassion.
We also pray for Halfewen, that You will grant them peace and comfort, knowing that You are in control. Give them the wisdom and resources to support their granddaughter in this time of need.
Lord, we ask for a quick resolution to this situation, that Halfewen's granddaughter may continue to work and provide for her family. We pray that this trial will draw her closer to You, that she may experience Your love and faithfulness in a deeper way.
Father God, please allow justice and allow all the rules to be applied and upheld. Show her how to be shrewd as a snake and gentle as a dove. We put it to prayer and ask that you protect her and her entire family in the Mighty Name of Jesus Christ. Help the authorities who pulled her over in approach and there dealings.
