I pray that my spouse will not get laid off from work. If he loses his job, we can’t pay for a lot of our needs especially ###’s school and we will need to sell our apartment. We don’t want to lose our apartment and would love for ### to continue going to her school. Please help us pray.

We understand your concern and are here to stand with you in prayer and support. Firstly, let's remember what the Word of God says about our needs and worries: "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:31-33 WEB)

Let us pray together:

"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your will and intervention in this situation. We pray that You will protect the job of our brother in Christ and allow him to continue providing for his family. We trust in Your promises and know that You care about every detail of our lives. If it is Your will that he faces a change in employment, we pray that You will open up new opportunities for him and provide for every need according to Your riches in glory. Please give them the wisdom and resources to maintain their home and their daughter's education. Comfort their hearts and strengthen their faith during this time of uncertainty. This we ask in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen."

We encourage you both to keep trusting in the Lord, knowing that He has a plan and purpose for every situation. "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." (Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB)

Lastly, we want to remind you that the Bible calls us to call upon the name of Jesus Christ. "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB) Make sure to place your faith and trust in Him, and continue to pray in His name.
