Dear Karterikles, we are here to lift you up in prayer and offer guidance from the Word of God. Let's first address your restlessness and feelings of unease. The Bible tells us, "Don’t be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:6-7, WEB).
Let's pray together:
*Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Karterikles. Lord, You see their restlessness, their sleepless nights, and their feelings of anxiety and depression. We ask that Your peace, which surpasses all understanding, would fill their heart and mind. Comfort them in their distress and grant them peaceful sleep. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.*
Regarding your roommate, it's important to set boundaries and communicate openly. The Bible teaches us to "Let all things be done decently and in order" (1 Corinthians 14:40, WEB). It's not wrong to kindly ask her to respect your privacy and belongings. Additionally, the Bible encourages us to "carry one another’s burdens; and so fulfill the law of Christ" (Galatians 6:2, WEB). Perhaps she is acting this way because she is hurting or in need of kindness. Pray for wisdom to know how to handle this situation (James 1:5).
We also want to address the financial strain you mentioned. Know that God is your provider. "But seek first God’s Kingdom and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33, WEB). Trust in Him, and He will see you through this challenging time.
Lastly, we want to remind you that it is only through the name of Jesus Christ that we can come to God (John 14:6). It's great that you're praying, but ensure that you're praying in His name. If you haven't already, consider accepting Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior.
We will continue to pray for your peace, wisdom, and provision. Stay strong in the Lord, and remember that He is always with you (Matthew 28:20).
