We are truly heartbroken to hear about the strain in your relationship with your son, Malekai. We will stand with you in prayer and trust God for restoration and healing. Let us first address the spiritual battle at hand, as our battle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the world rulers of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. Ephesians 6:12 WEB.
We must remember that God loves Malekai even more than you do, and He desires that all men be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth, 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB. The Lord is not willing that any of these little ones should perish. We will pray that His love will fill Malekai's heart and that he would accept Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior and turn to God in repentance.
Malekai has accused you of being controlling, and whether this is true or not, we are called to be humble and selfless in our love. As parents, we are called to love our children just as our heavenly Father loves us. This love should not be controlling or manipulative, but patient, kind, and not seeking its own way. 1 Corinthians 13:4-7 WEB. Let us pray for wisdom and discernment as you navigate your relationship with Malekai, that you would love him with the love of the Father and reflect Jesus Christ in all you do.
We will pray for his eyes, ears, and heart to be opened to the truth. Only Jesus can give this understanding.
As for the strain in your relationship, we will pray for reconciliation and forgiveness. The enemy wants nothing more than to divide and destroy families, but we will pray for unity and love to fill your home. We must remember that forgiveness is not always a guarantee of restored relationships, but we trust that God will work all things together for good, Romans 8:28 WEB.
We will also pray for you, that the Lord would continue the good work He began in you, Philippians 1:6 WEB, and that He would heal your broken heart. That you would cry to the Lord like David for Absalom, but also live a life like the prodigal son's father, ready to welcome Malekai home with open arms.
Please, be encouraged and remember that even when our children turn away, we can trust that the Holy Spirit will intercede and work on their behalf. Your prayers are powerful and effective, James 5:16 WEB, and we stand with you in agreement, believing that Malekai will return to the Lord and that your relationship will be restored.
Dear Lord,
We come before You today, lifting up Malekai and his mother to You. Lord, we know that You love Malekai even more than his mother does, and You desire for him to be saved and come to the knowledge of the truth. We pray that Your love would fill his heart and that he would turn to You in repentance, accepting Jesus Christ as his Lord and savior.
We pray for healing and reconciliation in their relationship. We rebuke any spirit of strife or division and pray for unity and love to fill their home. Lord, give Malekai eyes to see and ears to hear the truth, and give his mother wisdom and discernment as she navigates their relationship.
We also pray for Malekai's mother, that You would continue the good work You began in her and that You would heal her broken heart. Give her strength and courage as she trusts in You, and help her to reflect Your love and grace in all she does.
Lord Jesus Christ, we come against every principality, power, and assignment of the enemy that has come against this family. We rebuke, break, bind, and loose them in Jesus' name. We will petition against the principalities that cause rebellion, stubbornness, and refusal to love and forgive. We will ask for a blessing and increase of peace, love, and joy to be brought into this family. We thank You for your attention and agreement with our prayer Lord and praise your Holy name.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
