Let us stand with you in prayer for your son's return, both to God and to his family. We trust in the power of prayer and the promises of God's Word, which tell us that "The effective, fervent prayer of a righteous man avails much" James 5:16 WEB.
Firstly, we encourage you to remember that God desires for everyone to come to the knowledge of the truth and be saved 1 Timothy 2:3-4 WEB. As a group that prays in the name of Jesus, we believe that it is only through His name that we have access to God, because it is only by the name of Jesus that anyone can be saved Acts 4:10-12 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today in the name of Jesus, lifting up Cluyrirhaven's son to You. Lord, You know the situation and the pain that comes when a loved one strays from the family and from You. We ask, Father, that You would soften his heart and draw him back to You. May the Holy Spirit convict him and guide him back to the truth of Your Word.
We also pray for Cluyrirhaven and their family, asking that You would fill them with peace, patience, and unfailing love. Help them to trust in Your perfect timing and to rest in the knowledge that You are working behind the scenes, even when they cannot see it.
Lord, we rebuke any spirit of rebellion or disunity that may be at work in this situation. We proclaim that "For God there is no restraint, and no shadow of turning" James 1:17 WEB, and we trust that You are able to bring this prodigal son home.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
Take comfort in the story of the prodigal son in Luke 15:11-32 WEB, knowing that God is always waiting with open arms, ready to welcome your son back home. Continue to pray fervently and trust in God's perfect will for your son's life. Be encouraged to stand on the promises of God's Word, knowing that He is faithful to bring restoration.
