Let us begin by thanking you for reaching out and sharing your request with us. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, it is important to acknowledge that there is no other name by which we can be saved and should pray but the name of Jesus Christ. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus, who gave himself as a ransom for all; the testimony in its own times (1Timothy 2.5). We must approach God in Jesus name. If we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him (1 John 5.14,15). It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God.
In response to your request, we want to encourage you to trust in God's sovereignty over all things, including your son's employment situation. As it says in Romans 8.28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." This includes our current circumstance and worries.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up the son of Tachick to You. Lord, we ask that You would be merciful to him and protect his job. We pray that You would grant him favor with his employers and that they would understand his absence due to sickness. If he is not panting and breaking Your commandments, that would be good, but You know if such a break was needed. We pray that You would restore his health, grant him happiness, and give him a calm mind, according to Your will.
Lord, we also pray for Tachick, that You would grant them peace and trust in Your sovereignty. Help them to cast all their anxieties on You, because You care for them and for their son. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen.
Your son's health and happiness are important, but so is his spiritual well-being. We hope your son knows Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior and was able to bring the need for physical rest under that Lordship.
In addition, remind him of what it says is Matthew 6.25 WEB, Therefore I tell you, dont be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear... 34 Therefore dont be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each days own evil is sufficient.
