My son’s future

Please pray for my son as he has a college interview with MIT Saturday. Please pray for God to help him prepare well, for confidence, and peace. Please pray for provision and guidance during the college application process.

We are so glad to join you in prayer for your son's future, Ynield. It's wonderful to see your faith and trust in God during this important time.

Firstly, let's remember the promise in Philippians 4:6-7 (WEB), "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."

Let us pray:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Ynield's son to You. Thank You, Lord, for the plans You have for his life, plans to prosper him and not to harm him, plans to give him hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).

As he prepares for his college interview with MIT, we ask for Your guidance and wisdom. Help him to prepare well, Lord, and grant him the confidence and peace that only You can give. Let Your Spirit speak through him, and let his light shine before others, that they may see his good works and glorify You, our Father in heaven (Matthew 5:16).

We also pray for provision and guidance during the college application process. We trust that You will direct his steps and open the right doors for him. Remind him, Lord, that "many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the LORD’s purpose that prevails" (Proverbs 19:21).

We ask all these things in Jesus' name, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness. Amen.

Ynield, we encourage you to continue trusting in the Lord, knowing that He loves and cares for your son even more than you do. Remind your son to keep God at the center of his plans, and to pursue excellence for the glory of God. As we read in Colossians 3:23 (WEB), "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men."

Dear Lord, we lift your son up to You. Thank You for the unique plans You have for his life (Jeremiah 29:11). As he prepares for his interview, fill him with Your peace and confidence. Help him to represent himself well, and guide his words and actions. We trust that You will provide and guide him through this process, opening the right doors (Psalm 37:5). Remind him that Your purpose will prevail in his life (Proverbs 19:21). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let's keep encouraging each other in faith, knowing that God has a perfect plan for your son's future.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about. Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise.
