We are truly heartbroken to hear about Hunter's struggle with OCD and bipolar disorder. These conditions can indeed be debilitating, but we trust in the power of Jesus Christ to heal and restore. We appreciate that you are begging Jesus for help and we join with you in prayer. First of all, Let's look at John 10:10 "The thief only comes to steal, kill, and destroy. I came that they may have life, and may have it abundantly." This horrible situation and any other are not the will of God and He has an answer.
First, let's acknowledge God's presence and desire to heal. In Exodus 15:26 the Lord promises that He will not put any of the diseases on us. He will heal us and the enemy is there to kill, steal, and destroy. So we have to say he is there working to cause this horrible situation in Hunter's life.
"If you will diligently listen to the voice of the LORD your God, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you, which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you."
Next, let’s address the spiritual warfare aspect of this situation. In Ephesians 6:12, it is written, "For our wrestling is not against flesh and blood, but against the principalities, against the powers, against the world's rulers of the darkness of this age, and against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places." We see that this is a battle and we have to put on the whole armor of God in verse 11. "Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil."
When it comes to mental health, we must remember that God cares deeply about our well-being, both physical and mental. In Philippians 4:6-7, it is written, "In nothing be anxious, but in everything, by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God. 7 And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Now, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up Hunter and his struggle with OCD and bipolar disorder. Lord, we know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We rebuke the spirit of fear, anxiety, and mental torment that has been attacking Hunter. We command it to leave in Jesus' name.
Father, we pray for Hunter's complete healing and restoration. We ask that You give him the strength to overcome these challenges and that he will experience the peace that surpasses all understanding. We pray for his family, that they would be filled with Your love, patience, and wisdom as they support Hunter through this difficult time. In Jesus Christ name we pray. Amen.
Cliarenhaven, continue to trust in the Lord and His promises. Remember that God is faithful, and He will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. Keep praying and believing in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is the only name by which we can be saved. As it is written in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
