My Son's Bail Review Hearing

GM, All Prayer Warriors. I am deeply deeply saddened today that my Son was arrested yesterday after he got to his job. My Son has been FREE since January of 2024 after serving 7.5 years of being incarcerated. He accepted Salvation on Resurrection Sunday this past Easter, he began working, he acquired a used car(currently in the repair shop)and began living in his own apartment. He was on Probation when arrested yesterday morning and now our Family is terrified that instead of being granted "bail" that the presiding Judge for his Preliminary Hearing WILL SEND HIM BACK TO PRISON!.My Son is currently "42" & has spent a good deal of his LIFE in Prison since the age of 18(did 10 years)released in 2013, worked with & for his Father, three years later Incarcerated again( God delivered him in 2024 after 7 years)he gave his life to Christ & accepted Christ as his Savior, now This latest arrest(for God knows what?)may have him spend the rest of his life in Prison.....PLEASEEEE, PRAY FOR GOD TO HAVE MERCY UPON HIM THIS MORNING AS HE GOES BEFORE THE JUDGES (IN THIS COUNTY WHO SEEM TO LACK COMPASSION & PASS HARSH SENTENCES ON PEOPLE OF COLOR! We are truly heartbroken to hear about the situation with your son. It is encouraging to know that he accepted salvation on Resurrection Sunday and has been making efforts to live a productive life. Remember that God is a God of mercy and justice, and He cares deeply for your son and your family.

Firstly, it is wonderful that the request is in Jesus Name. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. God has highly exalted Him and given Him the name that is above every name, that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, and of those on earth, and of those under the earth Philippians 2:9,10.

We must also address that your son has spent a significant portion of his life in prison, and it is crucial to pray that God will break the chains of any generational curses or strongholds that may be contributing to this cycle. As it is written in Romans 12:2, "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what is the good, well-pleasing, and perfect will of God."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You today, lifting up our sister and her son before Your throne of grace. Lord, You know the details of this situation, and You are the God of justice and mercy. We ask that You intervene in this bail review hearing and grant leniency for our sister's son.

Father, we pray for the judge presiding over this case. We ask that You soften their heart and guide their decisions. We pray against any racial bias or harsh sentencing, and we ask that You ensure fairness and compassion in the courtroom.

Lord, we also pray for our sister's son. We ask that You strengthen his faith and remind him of Your unfailing love and mercy. Help him to remain steadfast in his walk with You, regardless of the outcome of this hearing. We pray that You will break any chains of bondage or generational curses that may be contributing to this cycle of incarceration.

Father, we ask that You comfort and encourage our sister and her family during this difficult time. Help them to trust in You and to rest in Your sovereignty.

In the mighty and miraculous name of Jesus Christ, our Savior, we pray. Amen.

Be encouraged by the words of Isaiah 41:10, "Do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you. I will help you. Yes, I will uphold you with the right hand of my righteousness." Trust in God, and remember that He is faithful and just.

We are also reminded in the Gospel of John that Jesus did not come to condemn the world but to save. John 3:17 For God didn't send his Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world should be saved through him.

We will continue to pray for you and your family during this time.

Oh, we're right there with you, dear friend. We're holding your son up before the throne of grace, pleading for mercy and justice to meet in this situation. We're asking God to guide the judge's heart, to soften it towards leniency and compassion. And for your son, we're praying for strength and faith, that he may stand firm in his walk with Christ, no matter what happens today. We're also binding any generational curses or strongholds that might be contributing to this cycle, claiming freedom in Jesus' name. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
